SOURCE: our 2000 Buick Lesabre has been bouncing violently. Had right front shock and spring replaced, but the car still bounces hard. What else could be wrong?

This really sounds like tire damage. Often a little difficult to detect, but what you do is jack up the car, INSTALL jack stands. Then rotate the wheel assembly while observing across the tread to some stationary surface. What you are looking for is any out of true.
Try your spare on any suspect tire location.

Code u1411 jeep liberty 2006

wow , no engine options stated, or type of driveline.... wow.
this is covered in the FSM, read that.
it states
U1411-Implausible Fuel Volume Signal Received that means to get the car fully scanned,
using a real scan tool that sees all 2006, jeep DTC errors.
including BCM codes.
the manual tells you what to do.

here is just small expert from the Factory.serv.manual

quote
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. (Refer to 9 - ENGINE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)(Refer To List 1).
Theory of Operation
The BCM has to send the PCM a fuel volume signal over CAN C. The signal the BCM sends over CAN C is implausible.
Diagnostic Test
1. ACTIVE DTC
Ignition on, engine not running.
With a scan tool read DTCs.
Is the DTC active at this time?
Yes
  • Go To 2
No
Refer To List: 2. CAN C BUS DTCS ALSO ACTIVE
With a scan tool check for DTCs in the BCM.
Are any CAN C related DTCs active at this time?
Yes
  • (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING) for the appropriate diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES/FRONT CONTROL MODULE - DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING)
No
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
that word CAN , means the vehicle network communications buss called CAN.
if the PCM can not TALK to the BCM. this can cause the
data to be wrong. and the
Implausible , data.
greek ,huh,
get it serviced by any ASE shop in town or if desperate JEEP.

2007 Jeep Liberty will battery dead and recharging alot cause transmission to act up

most modern cars and 07 is that.
have electronic shifter brain boxes. called TCMs,
(trans, control module)
the newer cars, have a TCM that learns your cars weight , Horse power and your driving habits. (allowing 1 trans to fit many cars, a very genius idea if ever, lowing the cost of transmissions)

so if the battery goes dead, the TCM brain forgets all that.
and must learn, again, all that.
so drive it. and let it do its job.

this is a generic answer, as you never stated the trans model in car.
some jeeps have 3 or more transmission drive line options.
1 M/T and 2 A/Ts and AWD too.

Bouncing rearend

Some leaf springs, when removed causes a bounce in the rear end when you forget to put them all back. You should try adding some leaf springs recommended from the manufractuer, or just look for the same parts from another model just the same as your vehicle. (tip from experience: match the leafs, and where they go.) for example: the small one will go with the other small one. I used the 2nd largest leafs and added them to my rear end, so instead of just one leaf stock there was two. if this solves your problem let me know.
