Plugs get wet of petrol and car smoke a dark smoke and smell petrol

bad fuel injectors. they are supposed to spray a fine mist of fuel when they are working properly, but when they go bad they can sometimes pour large amounts of fuel in the cylinders. are you getting horrible gas mileage? that is also one of the symptoms of a bad fuel injector.

Black smoke emission

Sound like the oil rings have collapsed. Assuming this is a petrol engine, check your spark plugs for oil and carbon. If they are dirty then you probably need an engine overhaul.

Hi my 1995 200i Toyota Camry keeps stalling whilst driving and does not fire I have changed the petrol filter bypassed the factory fitted alarm and anti hichacking and still the problem is persisting after...

The proper Air to Fuel ratio must be attained. When too advanced or retarded, you will get a rough engine and either lots of smoke or back carbon output. This requires TEST EQUIPMEMT to balance the engine performance, thus if you do not have equipment, it needs to go to the service station.

Runs ******

if it smells like raw, unburned fuel, you may have an injector stuck open. i assume it clears up and drive good after a short warm up. there will be evidence of which cylinder has the bad injector by pulling out the spark plugs. the affected cylinder will be washed clean and smell like unburned fuel. the plug may also be "wet black" and of course smell like raw fuel.

My toyota lucida is pouring black smoke out of the exhurst and oil leval light is on

Hi
Is it a diesel or petrol motor? If it is Diesel or petrol then black smoke is a sign that it is using excessive fuel so it could be a blocked air filter or fuel filter. if it is a diesel motor. So check these 2 items first.
The low oil level light is on because the engine needs the oil topped up, if you fill it to the correct level this will make the oil level light switch off. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

HI meekeyez,
'cruiser smelling of exhaust smoke' most cruisers that have age on them will have worn hindges and nolonger seal the rear doors and allow the exhaust smoke at the rear to seap in as the vehicle travels along due to the vortex affect that recoiles behind the vehicle check the rear cargo door seals and replace or adjust if needed as for your smoke problem i need more imfo is it blue smoke or black smoke is your cruiser petrol or desiel powered.
kind regards ****.
