They call it a Crossflow engine you should also see on the side of the block a number such as 113E or such like number. Cheers, Malcolm Campbell.

How do i remove an oil pan off a 1998 ford 2 wheel drive with out pulling the engine

Remove the bolt that runs thru the engines motor mounts, not the ones that attach it to the engine block. Take a 2x4 and put it on a floor jack so the jack won't damage the front pulley. Raise the engine with the floor jack to get enough clearance to manuver the pan around the steering components once thw oil pan bolts have been removed. Watch the fan blades don't hit the radiator.

How to change front crankshaft seal/1996 Infinity I 30

If you have a cross engine (Front wheel drive) check the possibility of removing a wheel and a panel section in front of the balancer or seeing a body hole for that purpose. If a normal engine configuration you may have to remove the radiator and associated shrouds to do the job.

I need to replace my thermostat and i can't find where it is I have a 93 Tercel. The car heats up while it's sitting but when I start driving down the road it cools down and doe's not heat up until I stop...

I think ur THERMOSTAT is fine! The prblem of heating up would be the RADiATOR FAN MOTOR, 'cause engine cool down when ur speeding u, means theres a cold RAM AiR flowing in front of ur car and its cooling down the radiator!
You have to go to ur garage mechanic and have them check wuts wrong w/ ur RADiATOR FAM MOTOR!
Nice to help somebody!

Where is the starter located on this vechicle

The starter should be located under the exhaust manifold on the front of engine. Since it is a front wheel drive, the front of engine is the side near radiator. Slide under front end and look up. That is where it should be located.
