Are there a lot of problems with chevy 2006 Aveo

Well, Gm couldn't sell any more geo metros so they renamed it the chevy metro. That didn't work too well so they renamed it the chevy aveo. Modern equivalent of the chevette. Research the Daewoo lanos, it is the same car under the skin.

Hi I have 1998 Daewoo Lanos Hatch back I am trying to located the spot where I can put a baby bolt in ? I cannot find it ! Thanks Tanya from Brisbane

In the 1999 Lanos Hatch, there is no bolt. There is a link where you can attach the standard clip. It's located in the rear centre of the luggage space. feed it over the back seat, in between the seat & the folding cover & clip in accordingly. You may need to buy an extension to reach it. Hoping this helps.

How do I remove door trim from daewoo lanos 3 door hatch

hi there are only 3 screws on the side/entrance and bottom of the door panel, they are medium sized cross heads screws. you also need to prise away the door release handle pull - use a flat blade screwdriver to do this and dont damage the surround! then with very moderate force the interna; door panel should be pulled towards yourself and around the door handle mechanism , repacement is the reverse good luck Ants

The outside latch of the back door is not working

you will have to pull the door trim back as far as you can you will damage it but no other way place a long rod or tool into the space and push or lift the locking striker inside the assembly or find the clip off and put back on or grab the rod or cable that is at fault and manually pull or push when you get it open TAKE THE CHILD LOCK OFF lol

Can i drive my lanos with suspect valve problem.

Are you sure your timing belt is on right? If you're out one tooth, it's gonna run like ****, and if it's not firing at all on one cyllinder, you're going to wash down the cyllinder walls (with gas while you're driving) and have engine failure. 400 K ? You might make it. Won't do your engine any good.

Replaced timing belt not running right

The Lanos engine are an interference engine. If you have bent valves, remove a plug wire one at a time and see if there is no change in the idle. My guess, one of them isn't going to change anything. That would be the cylinder that has the bent valves in. I had a Lanos in my shop with a broken timing belt and the head had several bent valves. I wouldn't be surprised at all if you also have bent valves.
