I have a nextbase 512gw nextbase dash cam when in parking mode will it drain my battery. Thanks. Davie

you should fit a power magic pro this will protect your car battery from going flat there is 2 voltage settings on it 12 volts and 12.5 volts so when the battery voltage drains to 12/12.5 v it will turn OFF your camera enabling you to have enough battery voltage left to start your car

I had to redo the motor in my mustang and now we can't get the timing set. Help It has a single overhead cam 4.6 liter engine. We have trying redoing the timing a couple times and just not getting it...

there should be marks on each gear like a dash ( - ) on one side of each gear. Those marks should be lined up directly pointing at each other so that the sides of the each gear with the mark are right next to each other..

When u open the doors from any car some light cam up or turn on right lights doesnt works

Look in your owners manual if manual settings, if auto settings on the steering wheel, using the upper left button scroll through selections until you see settings. It gives you options as far as time you would like the interior lights to stay on, or if you want them off. Sounds like the obvious fix to me. If not, check fuse bank under hood, left side, or on panel located on left side of dash panel when you open the door. The diagram will tell you which one to look at.

The defrost suddenly quit working this morning and the cab smelled funny in the ford F150 XLT Triton truck I am driving.

Look under dash panel on drivers side above gas pedal is a servo motor that turns a large roundish cam plate. With the key on, see if the cam turns in proportion to the heater control. I have seen some f-150s where the foam that seals the function doors in the heater box falls off and jams the doors up. If the cam plate only turns a little, remove the servo and cam plate(8mm screws) and see if all the levers under the cam move freely. if they don't then you probably have a jammed door and the dash and heater box need to be removed to fix it. BIG JOB!
Hope this helps

Leaky front crank seal i just need to know what needs to be taken off to get to it and what i should be able to get arround

This requires cam belt(s) removal in order to access the seal behind the crank pulley/balancer. The front of engine comes apart including all belts, covers, pulleys and gears.Do fully understand there is special cam timing marks when setting back up ....look for three small dashes 30 degrees or so from tdc (zero) timing marks on the back flywheel

How I can set the timing on a 1996 Silverado Z71?

An OBDll compliant scan tool is required for this procedure. With the ignition off install scan tool to the data link connector. [found inside vehicle, drivers side below dash] start the engine and bring the vehicle to operating temperture. Monitor cam ****** on scan tool. If cam ****** is between -2 degrees and +2 degrees the distributor is properly adjusted. If cam ****** is not between -2 degrees and +2 degrees the distrubtor must be adjusted. With the engine off loosen the distributor hold-down bolt. Start the engine and check cam ****** reading, rotate the distrubtor counterclockwise to compensate for a negative reading and clockwise to compensate for a positive reading. Momentarily raise the engine speed to over 1000 rpm and check cam ****** reading. If the proper reading is not achieved repeat steps 7 and 8. When the proper reading has been achieved tighten the distributor hold-down bolt and disconnect the scan tool.
