My dome light on 2009 ford 250 xlt does not work. all fuses are good

Dome light works on a ground system. It always gets power from the battery, needs ground to complete circuit. That part is not in fuse box. You need a circuit diagram showing where those circuits ground. You can make a test wire by just grounding it smewhere where you are sure it is making contact then touch the ground side of the light socket and see if it lights up. If not, you know that part of the ground is bad.

I have a 99 mercury sable, while replacing the headliner the dome lights and power windows quit working. I have checked all the fuses and the relays under the dash and all of them are good. I also checked...

odd, look for a fault in the ground side of that system,
if you check for voltage at say the dome light ground to battery
ground, there should be 0. even a test light from the battery ground to the dome light ground would work,if it even glows the ground is faulty. All I can think of ,,good luck.

2004 grand caravan some dome lights stay on rest shut off normally

Is there perhaps a problem with the dome light switch on the lift gate? Close all the doors, open only the lift gate and find the switch on the lift gate frame (usually a rubber covered "bump") and press it in. You might have a loose wire shorting against the bodywork or the door is not depressing the switch properly.

The dome light and cabin lights do not work. I checked fuses and bulbs and all are fine.

The cable that supplies power to these points is either loose/disconected or has corosion. Trace the wire to the main loom down to where it gets power from the main power supply.

1998 Ford Expedition "door ajar"

The door ajar switch is located inside the rear door face along with the latch. They can tend to get dirty and sticky over time. Using your favorite petroleum based lubricating spray, shoot it directly into the door latch area, being very liberal. Open and close your doors several times to make sure the switch is working freely. You should do this one door at a time so you can diagnose which door is causing the issue in case it resurfaces. Should be good to go.

Good luck.

Dome light

The wire that runs to the dome light runs along the carpet retainer on the floor of the driver door opening. It then runs up the "B" pillar and over to the dome light.
Have you checked the bulb and the presence of voltage and ground at the dome light socket?
I would start there first before tearing anything apart and make sure all is good.
Let me know.

Window

Must pull the door panel and loosen the track to get the window back into its track. Be advised this is not as easy as it sounds, especially if you have pw and pdl.
