Question about Holden Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

2006 Holden Barina TK. Hazard lights come on randomly and won't turn off, even if you operate the hazard light switch.

Found the problem - the drivers door interior light switch sensor was loose and shorting out when it moved. Tightened it properly and problem solved.

Hi, anyone know the common faults for a 2005 Holden barina to not start? Drove car to mechanics as the blinkers had a mind of there own and $480 later they can't get the car to start

Make them fix it. Your problem was a turn signal or hazard switch. Blinking lights. The no start has nothing to do with this. Unless they were in there and put power to the wrong wire. Or even grounded out a wire. There are no wires around the turn signals to do this. But if they didn't know what they were doing and played around with the ignition switch and security, then yes, they could blow a computer. You took your car in for blinkers. Now it won't run. Seems to me, it's their problem.

2006 Tk barina - won't start!!! :(

these had issues of not starting when cold and missfiring only when cold
this was due to valves sticking due to carbon build up

Intermittent flashing on L or R turn or Hazard.

Hi Chalky!
I'm not familiar with your vehicle but if it were me I would put the Hazard Warning lights on and listen/feel the small relays/boxes close to the fuse board I'm sure you'll find it that way.
Good Luck!
