SOURCE: The flap for the vanity

There are two little plastic pins that snap against a spring steel clip and these have broken off.. - for @ $180.usd you can replace the unit.. or we applied two small velcro discs ( ask at any hardware store) under the mirror and cover and that seems to work fine. They also make adhesive magnet strip that might work. A fix that we used for a few weeks was to clip the garage door opener on this held it in place nicely. Good luck

SOURCE: how do I remove the passenger side power mirror on 98 caravan?

If you're lucky, on the inside of the door, will be a triangular panel right behind the mirror that you can pop off. If you're not as lucky and it's one piece or the panel is blocked by the door panel, you'll need to remove the door panel to change it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can remove the bolts holding the mirror onto the door

SOURCE: how to remove sun visor on a chevrolet Trailbazer

Hello. here is the instructions for removing the sunshade.

  • Insert a small tool into the bezel access hole (1).
  • Important: Midway through the rotation cycle, the tool will move further into the access hole.
  • Push upward on the tool while rotating the sunshade parallel to the windshield. The sunshade pivot arm bezel should appear to be recessed into the bezel.

How to fix a Kia Optima Sun visor

My visor broke also, but I REFUSED to pay the $120+ Kia wants to replace them with no guarantee to not have future problems. I took the advise of jacobib berto (the first reply), but went to Lowe's and bought a pack of circular magnets for $2.70. I then superglued 1 magnet to the "mirror flap" on the visor and then another to the side of the light on the roof (make sure you have opposite polarity prior to gluing). This may cause the "mirror flap" on the visor to open when attempting to pull the visor down so I used 2 strong rubber bands on the visor to keep the visor closed when pulled down the visor. Putting the magnets to the side of the mirror flap and the light still allows functionality of the mirror. I thought this was an okay sacrifice when considering the $100+ savings.

I just bought a used Hundai Sante fe and the lights over the vanity mirrors in the sun visors and i dont know if it is an extra clock in between the sun visors are not working have checked all the fuses...

ok.. you either bought the lights over the vanity mirrors in the sun visors... or the lights are not working in the sun visors???? Wow man!... think you could take additional classes in the English language? ... what's this issue with 'extra clock' in between the sun visors are not working'???? Tell you what, since you're convinced you have a problem, Go to and register( Vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you have access to shop manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. about your vehicle.
