Will not go into gear

You may have to bleed the slave cylinder to get it to work. Bleed it just like brakes-pedal going to floor, open valve. Close valve, pump pedal and pedal to floor again with bleed valve open. When fluid comes out in steady stream with pedal pressed, done. Watch the plunger on the slave cylinder when clutch is pressed-it should move out to move the clutch lever.

2008 corvette 11,200 miles on it clutch won't release

YOUR WARRANTY SHOULD FIX IT. SHOULDNT HAVE TO FIX YOUR SELF.POSSIBLE CAUSE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER FLUID LEVEL.IF LOW CHECK MASTER CYLINDER SLAVE CYLINDER LINES FOR LEAKS FIX AND BLEED CLUTCH HYDRALIC SYSTEM.IF CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER FLUID LEVEL OKAY.THE CLUTCH DRIVEN DISC PRESSURE PLATE NEED ADJUSTMENT.I WOULD LET YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY FIX IT.YOU SHOULDNT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING.JUST MAKE SURE FLUID IN CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER NOT LOW WHEN YOU TAKE IT TO DEALERSHIP.IF THEY CHECK IT OUT FIND ANY KIND NEGLECT TO VECHICLE.THEY WILL NOT PAY.THEY WILL FIX BUT YOU WILL PAY OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE.

How do i adjust my cluth on a 2003 tacoma

The slave cylinder in these trucks makes the clutch non adjustable. If you have a soft clutch pedal which goes to the floor and can not shift as easy as it used to the slave cylinder is low on fluid or weak. Check the reservoir of the slave cylinder to see if its full. If low fill it with the recommended Power Steering fluid which is DOT3 approved I do beleive and pump the clutch pedal about 25 times with the engine off. The clutch should operate correctly. If it tends to get worse the slave cylinder needs to be replaced

Bad key switch, need to know how take steering column apart to replace switch

Remove the steering wheel, which may require a puller.
Mark the wheel in relation to the steering shaft before removing.

Remove the steering shaft locking ring.Held on with a C ring on steering shaft, which may require a tool made to push the lock ring down a little for removal of C ring.

Remove the signal light switch....held in with usually 3 screws and one on the hazard flasher switch.
Just pull it out enough to get access to the single bolt holding the lock/key cylinder into the steering column.

Slide old lock out......and slide new lock/key in.
Reverse the process.
