When driving home last night I noticed the clutch kind of stuck at the floor(pushed in all the way). with clutch in , it makes a noise, but goes into gear but when I let out the clutch it makes a louder noise. NOTICED THE 4X SHIFT HANDLE WAS FLOATING AND OPENED UP COVER TO RE SECURE THE CLIP TO KEEP IT IN TACT.
Clutch plate springs brocken.Thats where your noise is comming from. The only solution is to change the clutch.Hope that was helpfull.

Sounds like your 4wd gear selector is sitting between gears and grinding when you try to engane the drivetrain by letting the clutch out, you may just have to wiggle it or try pushing down and moving it to the 2wd position.....or fully into the 4wd position. Is it a grinding noise? Is your 4wd light on the dash lit up?
