Flat spot between 1800-2000rpm ford transit connect 2009

Could be the TPS. Especially if you have cruise control, use it a lot and tend to stay at the same speed all the time. If you do the TPS contact strip will be worn down at the point where you always set it at (i.e. say 70Mph) the metal contact at that point gets worn away since it sits on the same spot all the time. The rest of it is fine, but that spot is bad, when you hit it the power is temp lost, then returns once it goes past that part. Moral of the story. Don't always cruise at the same speed, your TPS will thank you!

Is there a relay for power windows in a 2012 ford transit connect

Almost all vehicles have relays operating items that use a lot of current. There should be a black plastic box usually located under the hood near the front of vehicle on the fender well. You should see a screw fastner on top which you can remove by hand. If not look for a different way the top is secured. Once you get the top off, look inside and there is a diagram of the relays and what they control. Pull the relay and replace it with one with the same number. There are normally more than one relay with the same number, so to check if your relay is malfunctioning remove the old one, and insert one of the relays from your relay box with the same number. If windows work, replace the relay. There is also a 20 or 30 amp fuse in your fuse box that you should check.

How to remove the headlight assembly on a 2010 ford transit connect

The 2010 Transit Connect headlamp assembly can removed by putting a bottle cap under the lamp to push the rubber bumper down out of the way you must have a Very bright penlight and a10 inch quarter inch extension with socket lock and a 10 mm to get the bolts out under there then you have toCut and bend a piece of plumbers strap to fry the Locking strip out and a piece of bent metal to pull off and pull the flapper out to pull the connection loose for the harness. To install new bolts you need to glue the bolt into the socket with some 1099 contact Bond adhesive it's all pretty easy Once you have done it once but it's a pain in the first time

My 2011 ford transit connect won't shift into reverse, how do I solve this?

I have a 2011 Ford Transit Connect, my daily driver. Today I drove and parked. I went to drive again and could not get the vehicle out of PARK. I called a tow truck in and the driver showed me the problem. There is a black cover near the gearshift lever that is similar in size and shape to a dime. It can be removed with a small screwdriver. Once removed, there is a white switch revealed. When you push down on the switch while pulling back on the gearshift lever, you will be able to shift out of PARK.

Speed limiter

It's programmed into the ECU - there's nothing you can remove from the car to delete it. You'd have to find someone who can reprogram your car's computer with the speed limiter removed.
