There is no "heater coil" I know of. What exactly are you trying to change?

1996 cadillac deville I by passed heater coil but water is coming from somewhere else and is running on floor it's not heater coil and what ever it is its draining my radiator so car over heated

To by pass the heater coil, you must connect the two hoses going into the heater coil. Did you do this? or did you just plug one hose line? best to replace heater coil if it is leaking to get heat working in winter.

You can look online for a repair manual for your Cadillac Deville covering the 2003 model year. Most popular brands of repair manuals are produced by Chilton or Hayes. Check your local library as they may have the manual available ON LINE that is if your have a current library card........

98 caddy deville nothstar v8 how to replace heater coil have no heat and I'm loosing water somewhere

the heater core in a 1998 Cadillac is very tricky to replace.
start with getting a pressure test to determine where the exact location of the leak is, it may not be the heater core.
if you do decide to pull the dash apart to change the core make sure the battery is disconnected for at least an hour to allow the airbag system to discharge.

My cadillac is not giving me any hot air ,ive replaced the radiator, changed the thermostat, has a new water pump, where do istart to look.

Feel the 2 tubes at the firewall for the heater core. If they are not getting hot, the heater core needs to be flushed out or replaced. I had this problem with a 1990 Cadilac Deville, it was just a plugged up heater core.

Remember to install sealant after flushing out the system to prevent leaks.
