I would check to be on the safe side the fuel filter is going in the right direction. The arrow is pointing towards the engine away from the fuel tank, Then you need to make sure the fuel pump wiring connections are good contact and did not come loose when driving.

SOURCE: vehicle is turning over but
Your fuel pump probably stuck. Use a wood bat or rubber hammer to tap on the tank. Have someone turn the key to on (not crank) with your ear by the tank to see if you can hear it hum for 1-3 seconds. Next replace the filter to remove any water in the lines, and don't forget to put some water remover and octane booster to "fix" the old gas that has gone stale and sucked up water.

Try spraying carb cleaner in throttle body , see if starts ! Do you have a security light on the dash ? How many miles on it ? And is the spark happening at the right time ? jumped time , timing chain !
