When i brake i hear a noise what can it be

You may need new brake pads, some pads have a wear indicator that will scrub the edge of the rotor and make noise when they wear to a certain point. I suggest you take to a qualified brake repair shop as soon as possible and have it checked by a professional

My ABS and TC lights are both on. The first came on and I figured my brakes needed changed, however after the change, they both still come on, and my brake pedal rubs, like it won't stop.

Nothing to do with brake rotors/pads etc

You have an ABS Braking System Malfunction
that needs to be resolved

The abs controller is doing odd things & it
really isn't that safe to use right now

Try a local repair shop

Have them check the codes & only
diagnose & repair the abs issue,
don't need a dog & pony show on other items

Have them prove they can do one job at a time

Possible brake sensor problem, cannot engage into gear. column shifter. barely turn key over and then i can engage into gear, but have no brake lights. How do i go about fixing this.

First off, check the fuse. If it is blown, I would atleast check the electrical connector for the brake switch. Remember to never replace a fuse with a fuse with a higher amperage rating.

If the fuse isn't blown, it's still a fairly cheap and easy fix. The brake switch is about $20-30. If you look up from the brake pedal, you'll see a yellow pin that resembles a grenade pin. Pull that and the sensor should slide off. Carefully disconnect the electrical connector and look closely at it, if it seems burned at all on the clip side, have the connector replaced as well.

1996 Dodge Dakota - Brake pedal became very soft . checked brake fluid ,it was seriously low ,added fluid ,now brake light & abs light stay on and the brake pedal is extremley soft.

You have a leaky brake line somewhere. You will need to find and repair it. If you don't see any lines that are wet, you may have to pull the rear brake drums to check the wheel cylinders. They can also start to leak but are not as likely as a line. If your truck is a standard it's possible that your hydraulic clutch uses the brake master cylinder as a resevoir so check that line as well. A soft pedal would suggest that isn't the problem but if the fluid was low enough air could get into the lines. Hope this helps.

94/95 jeep 4 lt. Seem to have error code 12 followed by 55. Manual we have doesn't show 12 as an error code - any clues, please?

12 indicates that the battery has been disconnected recently. 55 shows the end of the code sequence.
Therefore, whatever problem you are having, it isn't generating a code.

ABS light on and will not go off. Just had to replace the ball joints and the ABS connection had to be disconnected, now it is on and will not go off. Also the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor...

It sounds like the person who did your work disconnected your brake hoses and now you have air introduced air into the system ( air is compressible, fluid is not). You need to go back to who did the work and get the brakes bled. Be very careful because you are driving on the ragged edge of safety with minimal brakes. If a garage did it, I would have them come and tow it back.

The ligh from abs is on

There is a problem with the ABS. Take it to the shop asap.

Also in some cars the ABS can be turned off. Check this possibility and remedy.
