Remove the distributor by removing the two mounting bolts to the timing cover. This will keep your ignition timing intact. Fit the oil pump and drive spindle together and install so that when you look down on top of them the spindle is aligned like below.

Please i need diagram to 1986 nissam pickup 4wd drive z-24 8 plugs need help w the wiring from distributor to the plugs;need to know order they go back on my email andujarpena@hotmail.com. thanks

Okay you got it here another diagram. If you are misfiring clean out the distributor it has tendency to oil contaminate,or if your burning rich heavy black smoke its the fuel pump not producing enough pressure, Dont confuse this with the MAF sensor your injector is pulse width modulated.3_29_2012_7_20_47_am.jpg

Just replaced timing chain, guids, gears and tesioner in a 1991 nissan pickup with a z24 engine and still has a rattle when it worms up, not there when its cold would it be low oil pressure

Sounds like oil pressure.Try thicker oil and if the problem presists than
Check tension on chain and rotate by hand to see if everything lines up and there is no slack /
when installing oil pump ,ensure the oil ports line up/
check oil pressure with gauge
