Question about Infiniti Cars & Trucks
Hello, I have a 2004 g35 coupe and about a week ago, I started noticing that my car would make these high pitched screeching/squeaking noise, sort of like a metal on metal scraping noise. This can be heard when I start moving my vehicle (driving) and it doesn't really go away after driving a while or at any speeds. It also can be heard when I brake. I'm not really tech savvy so I don't know if this is something related to my pads or disk or even worse. The sounds seems to be coming from my rear driver's side wheel area. I can't bring my car to a mechanic since I can't spend more than I should so I enlisted a friend to help me repair my car but until he arrives in a few days, what do you think would normally cause this noise? Is there a specific area to focus at? Also, is this how worn brakes normally sound though? I ask this because I hear it while driving and braking. Thanks!

I wouldnt drive the car much till inspected
would say you ran out of brake material on your pads
now up for pads and rotors
tyres off to inspect will tell how bad it is
