Question about Hyundai Cars & Trucks
Click on the link, wiring diagram for fuel pump. There is no reset button as far as I'm aware.
Are you missing anything else? Gasoline engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse?
Any applicable trouble codes?

SOURCE: Fuel Filter
FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT
1. Reduce the internal pressure of the fuel pipes and hoses by completing the following operations. (1)
Disconnect the fuel pump harness after removing the rear seat cushion. (2)
Start the engine and after it stalls, turn the ignition switch OFF. (3)
Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
Connect the fuel pump harness connector
2. Remove the bolt connecting the fuel line with the fuel filter. Cover with a shop towel to avoid gasoline from splashing. 3. Remove the fuel filter mounting bolt, then remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter clamp. 4. After replacing the fuel filter, check for fuel leaks.

It is a 2.0L (the delta blocks weren't in tibs until '03). You have to remove the timing belt tensioner, and then you can remove the bolts for the water pump. I would strongly recommend not only taking careful precaution not to disturb the orientation of the gears in this process, but also to replace the timing belt and water pump at the same time. You don't want to go through this process all over again do you?

CV joints are not hard if you do some research. Get a shop manual first. You will need a good jack, two jack stands. I am not that fam. with the Hyundai, but some fwd cars have med/ large bearing retaining bolts so you will need 1/2 drive socket set up to say 33 mm. You will need a whole day or 2 to do this. set aside that much time in case of some road block. You have to pull both wheels and fender wells. On some cars you will have to pull the struts or the lower arms that hold them to the body to give room to pull out the cv assy. Do one at the time on some fwd's if you pull both the ring gears can fall out of sync and thats not good. Buy the complete cv axel rebuilt if you can. Work slow, take pictures as you go, be careful.

Only 2 parts remaining are the thermostat and waterpump. Always start with the thermostat when diagnosing an overheating problem. If the car is overheating constantly under all conditions and coolant is backing up into the reservoir, it's very likely to be the thermostat. If it only overheats at low speed or idling, it's more likely the waterpump.

Pop the hood and you should see two dials (hex shaped plastic screws) on each of the headlight assemblies. One is for your high beams and one is for your low beams. You'll need to measure from the ground up to the center of your bulb and make that marking on the wall for each of your bulbs (so four marks). Then park about 30 feet away from the wall (make sure you're on a level surface that's level with the wall base. If the light says VOR, then the top of the brightest area of the light should line up with the mark. if it says VOL, then the top of the brightest area of the light should line up two inches below the mark.
