You have blown up the ecu as a result of not having a good earth connection from the earth lead on the gearbox.
This is a very common problem (done it myself!)
Only solution is to get the ecu repaired or replaced.
You must change the oil and filter before trying to start the car again.

SOURCE: no start

if it runs on starting fluid its a fuel problem.. check fuel pressure even if its a couple of pounds off, the vehicle will not run. but using starting fluid may give you the extra poundage you need to make it run . also check vacuum hose at pressure regulator on fuel rail

SOURCE: 1991 pontiac 2.5 tech 4 fuel pump relay wont energize

Look for a bad fuse or relay. If both check out, most likely an ECM problem

SOURCE: no injector pulse, no current to the injector

Check the pickup in the distributor as this is the cam sensor. The injectors run of the pulses created while the rotor is turning around. It should be a plastic disk located under the rotor button.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this problem? My car has the same codes- dealer says it might be the fuel pump relay. Wondering what you found out?

1999 ranger wont start

If that was my vehicle I would not have changed one part

I would have gotten out my wiring diagrams & walked thru a
logical sequence of testing what I had & didn't have, as far
as crank sensor output,fuel pressure,injector pulse,etc

Seeing a how pcm's seldom fail ,your just throwing parts at it
& not testing a thing

You need the wiring diagrams to see & learn how the various
systems work

You can actually trigger injectors, coils, relays, etc if you can
use diagrams, test light, meter & jumper wires properly, otherwise
you need professional help

My 93 s10 2.8 just shut off and woulnt start, I'm

Are you not getting fuel to the throttle body? Or are you not getting any injector pulse? BIG DIFFERENCE!

If you have lost injector pulse and spark at the same time, the most likely cause would be a failed distributor module.

Have 94 grand dam change fuel pump change presure regulater and relay pump stays runnig and car wont start

If by cranking you mean the engine starts then you are having fuel issues. If the car starts with starting fluid then you either don't have fuel pressure or the injectors are not opening. After starting with starting fluid does it continue to run until you shut it off or does it shut off on its own?

Either way you will need to install a fuel pressure gauge to make sure you have enough fuel pressure. If you do have fuel pressure then you will need to make sure the injectors are firing. There is a tool available called a noid light or injector pulse light. You will need to unplug one of the injectors and plug this tester into the connector. If the light flashes while cranking then the injector is being companded to fire. If the light does not flash then you either have a bad engine computer or a control module. More than likely it is the control module. The control module uses the input from the crankshaft position sensor to fire the coil and the injectors the module may be loosing the signal for the injector.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Did everything from changing the wiring loom from computer box to engine compartment, checked computer box which i had tested(ok),changed all the relays, put another distrubutor which i had tested(ok),fuel...

There's a fuse for the igntion, if it's blown it would cut power to the coil, check to see if the coil is firing by putting the coil wire [ make sure the ciol wire is good, they are known to fail ] close to a grounded part of the car. if it's working, then it may be a bad rotor, if not it may be the coil.

It would be good to list what the vehicle is.

I have a 1992 acura legend it's been sitting up for about three years replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, injector resistor, ran compression check on all cyl. all above 150 psi. swapped ign....

Put a meter on the firing and non firing side on the injectors and see if the reading is the same. Sometimes a whole bank of injectors loose the pulse to inject. If this is what is going on you need to check all the fuses, and look for wiring harness grounds on the engine near the injectors. A bad connection, or a bad fuse can shut down one side of the engine. It is also possible the engine computer has lost a driver, and is bad, this also can shut down a bank of injectors. Most of the time problems like this are caused by bad connections. If a quick check of these mentioned items doesn't help then get a good service manual with a wiring schematic in it and start checking out the wires to see if there is a break in the wires.

Passport not firing

Open the fuel line near the injector pump by loosening the line nut preferably with a hex line wrench or find a bleed port on the injector and loosen it. Remove the ignition coil wire to to avoid a fire. Once some place is open for the gas to flow and flush the fuel line, crank on the engine for a short time til all the air is flushed from the fuel line, then tighten the line or bleed port nut to stop the leaks. Replace the coil wire and start the engine normally. Good luck and happy new year.
