How do I disable the srs airbags so I can safely work on wiring under dash (installing a remote starter)? will be rearming system when done.

check your service manual dont have one? get one.

there should be a RELAY (1" saquare block plugged in like fuse in the relay box) to control them. but you must check service manual first. some systems unplugging the relay or plugging in the relay may cause detonation. you need the service manual if you want to mess with airbags. please do that.

How to fix b0019-0d

There are two junction connections on the four wire harness that runs from the SDM (airbag controller under driver seat) to the passenger side airbag (I/P module). Once connection is just below the passenger side airbag in the dash and another is behind the driver side kick panel.

In my case, the connector behind the driver side kick panel had likely a bit of corrosion and there was high resistance that thre the service airbag message and light on the dash. Once I cleaned this connection, the light was gone and the problem is now fixed.

High resistance in either of these connections will throw the B0019 OD code.

Disable passenger airbag

There is no user operated key to disable passenger airbag like on most newer cars, for what you are attempting just disconnect the battery! This should allow you to remove the dash without activating the airbag!

How do u reset the airbag system to get the dash light to go off

If the light is on after you have had the car serviced, its possible that during the service the airbag was removed from the car to be sold as a spare part. This sometimes happens because the only clue you have that there is no airbag installed is that the light stays on.

Replacement dashboard

try a wrecker that specialises in your brand of car and see if there are any serviceable dash units to suit your car. If your car is under insurance then you may get a new dash from the manufacturer's spares department.

Air bag warning lights appears on the dash board every time I turn on the ignition on my 1998 Porsche Boxster

You need to have the airbag serviced as there is an error somewhere. it also means that the airbag will not deploy in an accident, so you should get this looked at by someone with experience troubleshooting airbag problems asap.

How do i turfn on the airbags to my expedition

For liability reasons, it is a bad idea to turn off your airbags and there is a certain amount of trouble that goes with it.
It can be illegal in some states and cities to tamper with this equipment.
Should you need to service the bags, there are yellow or orange wires that you will find in the steering column and they will be clearly marked SRS or Airbag with warnings to not tamper with them.
There are connectors in those wires and they can be unplugged to service the airbags.
On the passenger side it is much the same. Look for the bright colored wires and there will be a plug or connector that can be disconnected to service your bags.
Make sure the battery has been disconnected for 30 min or more before attempting service on your airbags.
This is a dangerous job so be very very careful with it.
If the bag goes off on you, it can break your neck.

2004 pacifica impact sensors, airbags

you may not always have to replace sensors, but you will have to change the airbag module (usually under front seat, sometimes in middle of dash) To remove the passenger airbag you have to take out the dash.
