Wont start/turn over clicks when turn key/battery good

If the battery is good as you state. then the starter must be at fault, if you can reach it give it a light tap with a hammer and try again. if this fixes it you need your starter replaced or repaired.

The check engine light is on because the ecu has detected a fault in on of the sensors of your jeep. Have the trouble codes read from your jeep to determine which sensor is bad.

The dash lights are not working in my 1996 Jeep Cherokee. How do I fix this problem?

Had same problem with my 1996 Jeep, fuse 25 kept blowing. It was a short circuit in the transmission selector case. Seems to be a design fault where the wires for the light there, cross over a steel bar and get worn down every time you move the selector from park to drive and back. Bit of elect' tape fixed it.

1996 jeep cherokee 4.0 shuts off while driveing. think it is afuel problem?

on this engine the most common problem is the crankshaft poistion sensor (CKP sensor), it will set a fault code in the computers memory, so have a local autozone or kragen test the system for the crank sensor code.

1994 jeep chrokee lights wont come on

I believe that you have checked the fuses and bulbs by now.A common problem is the headlight switch that you use to turn them on.It plays up and will stop all the lights from working.Get it checked as a starting point. Its a cheap item and is easy to replace.A good auto/elect. will be able to help you if needed.Hope this helps
