I have a 2002 dodge durango and my headlights and dashboard keep flickering on and off, checked the headlight switch but it seems fine. Could it be the wiring?

it could be a wiring problem underneath the dash, i would recommend to check your fuses in the car first that would be the first and most cheapest fix. you may have a fuse that is about to go out, another cheap possible solution would be to check your relays in the vehicle first as well if it is a relay i would recommend going to a junk yard and getting the same make and model relays at a junk yard that you can pull the parts off yourself at.

I have no headlights on my 2000 monte carlo checked the fuses and relay plz help

The headlights are not fused. Please remove the main headlight switch and look at the connector to it, if it appears burnt and discolored you have found the problem, replace the headlight switch and splice in t anes connector, both are available from parts stores like NAPA and Carquest.

Both headlights stopped working in my 86 ford bronco xlt

In almost every case this is caused by a overheated and damaged headlight switch and the large connector that goes to it, both parts are cheap and you can get the switch and the repair connector from any NAPA or Carquest auto parts store. The headlight connector and switch must be done as one repair or the new headlight switch will quickly stop working again due to a poor connection of the connector. When the connector is replaced it must be soldered the wiring harness and shrink tube for insulation of the connection, ONLY DO ONE WIRE AT A TIME.

Headlights go on and off.

Hello
This problem is caused by a defective headlight main switch and or headlight switch wiring connector, this is not the dimmer switch but the main headlight switch. When you remove the switch you will likely find that the wire connector to the switch is heat damaged, you must replace both the switch and the switch wire connmector to repair the problem. You can buy repair connectors from any GM dealer and the headlight switch is available from most any upscale auto parts store like NAPA or Carquest.

2003 trailblazer low beam headlights go out

Check your dimmer switch on your steering column. Your plug may be loose or not getting a good connection. Your dimmer switch may be going bad as well. The same thing happened on my 1994 Chevy, but the lights never came back on, on mine. I found that the dimmer switch had gone bad. If this is the case, I recommend buying one from your local chevy dealer and spending the extra money. I went through two that I bought through napa before buying a OEM replacement because the napa ones just didn't last.
