Question about Saturn Cars & Trucks
A couple of months ago it started bucking occasionally. It did this at idle and at highway speeds. It would do it after driving for a while and then slowing to a stop for a traffic light. I have replaced the ignition module, the coil pack, the coil pack wires, the plugs, the oxygen sensor AND the fuel injectors because I paid PEP boys 100 dollars to tell me two of them were bad. In replacing them I discovered the connector for cyl #2 had lost its retaining clamp. I thought I had found my problem. Replaced the clamp and its better but it still bucks at highway speeds and at idle it will sit there for a while then act like its going to kill but then recover. I have also cleaned out the throttle body and the idle air control valve. I put a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and it reads a steady 60psi. While I was watching it, the idle did its thing and the pressure did no budge. When the car is not doing this it runs great. Typically on a long drive it will run like a new car for awhile, then start this bucking thing then stop, then start up again. I just don't know what else to do.
Check the connector on the Engine Control Module (ECM) for dirty contacts. If not there, a bad connector or wiring on one of the sensors.

Have the fault codes read ( free at autozone)
problem more likely to be a problem crank/cam position sensor or sensor wire in the harness or connections
