The Kia Has a Pocket Of Air Space When your Pushing Gas In On A refueling Take it Slow Add you gas at a lower speed on fill ups or say 20 bucks worth at a time it wont over flow with the air back lash if you slow down that was my experience With mine the inlet hose to the tank has always trapped air from internal pressure built up by gasoline in the tank during warmer weather it will be more, The Gas Cap Is Supposed to Vent Also You might want to check yours out

Need to put on new fuel pump, gas tank is full, when trying to cyphon it out it just drips real slow


u'll have to drop it full then. or u didnt get enuf gas in the hose. use a clear hose so u can see the gas and **** real slow till you see gas then put down to ground fast till it starts flowing, good luck

I have a 98 mercedes c230 it sometimes surges at idle if you hit the gas it clears up and loss of power i have replaced both oxygen senors,replaced the fuel pressure regulator and the manifold becaused it...


It's like faulty air flow meter, first start engine is the engine running rough disconnect electric socket from air flow meter is the engine running better than before replace air flow meter. if not need to be diagnose to find the fault code is this information helped you?

After a recent accident, I cannot fuel the vehicle at a normal flow. It keeps shuting off the gas nozzle and has on occasion splashed gas back. Is there something other than a kinked hose that would cause...


The only thing I can think of is a bent or kinked tube. I believe your model jeep has a plastic gas tank if it is a steel gas tank it may be possible the bottom is dented in and the fill tube runs all the way to the bottom of the tank this will cause the flow to be restricted and slow.
