you wll have to remove the steering wheel to find the problem iam afraid ,its called a serpent coil or whatever and this is playing up ,make sure ignition is off nd remove the airbag to get to the steering controls but whatever you do remove the airbag but do not unplug it or the airbag light will stay on

it could be your clockspring; it carries multiple electrical signals to and from the steering wheel (audio controls, horn, airbag). the wheel has to be removed to gain access to it for replacement, but it can be tested without removal. the easiest way to test it is with a diagnostic tool
