Transmission failures in your van are common, in fact they are so common that the transmission used I believe has a class action law suit against it, but that is not for sure, if you are under 100,000 miles go back to the Ford dealer and request factory assistance even if the warranty has expired, I worked for Ford for 20 years and I know if you are nice but persistent they will help you most times, One question I am still a little unsure by what you mean by it won't pull, do you think it is the transmission? is it slipping, is there a possibility this could be a lack of power engine problem? If you could clarify this a little more that would be great, thanks.
