Guessing you are referring to the flex section of the exhaust pipe that allows engine movement separate to moving the exhaust system
it is a stainless steel convoluted section enclosed insulation by the mesh and are subject to failure from work hardening of the stainless steel section from improperly maintained exhaust system mounting rubbers ( broken)
can be replaced by any accredited exhaust repair shop

Hi , I have a subaru impreza 2009 with a po137 code I replaced ox 2 sensor banck 1 , reset the code but still coming back...any suggestion?

code p 0137 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 2 bank 1---low voltage ===causes --exhaust leak---wiring short to ground---HO2S --ECM
it also refers to oxygen sensor(O2S) 2 bank 1--low voltage ===causes exhaust leak---wiring short to ground--O2S-- ECM
HO2S sensors are in the exhaust manifold before the cat converter and O2S are in the pipe after the cat converter there is a flex section of exhaust pipe covered by a stainless steel mesh and they crack under the mesh
I suspect that it is the HO2S that is faulty as it reports the gas composition of the exhaust gas so that the ECM can adjust the mixture

I have Mazda 6 2006 - 4 cylinder. I got the PO137 code.

code p0137 refers to heated oxygen sensor(HO2S) 2 bank 1--low voltage ===causes ---exhaust leak---wiring short to ground ---HO2S---ECM
it als refers to oxygen sensor(O2S) 2 bank 1---low voltage ===causes ---exhaust leak---wiring short to ground ---ECM
take your car to a muffler /exhaust shop and have the flexible section of the exhaust pipe connected to the exhaust manifold checked for cracks under the stainless steel covering
the HO2S is most likely the cause of the code and it is best removed and replaced using a special tube socket that protects the wires during the replacement
it can be a pain as it will be tight and in a n awkward position so consider having the exhaust shop replace it as they should have the socket and knowledge to do the job
the HO2S is the one in the exhaust manifold and the O2S is the one after the cat converter

How to replace the oxygen sensor

There are two sensors, one on the exhaust manifold the other on the catalytic converter. The exhaust manifold is the easy one to replace, the other the car needs to be on a lift.

Changing the O2 sensor will improve you gas mileage,

Location of o2sensors 2002 taruas duratec 24 valve where?

Check the exhaust manifold just above where the exhaust pipe connects to the manifold. The second location, is you have two, is under the drivers side on the exhaust pipe just past the Catalytic Converter.

1996 saturn catylic converter monitor where is it located

I never saw a converter monitor in any Saturn I owned. There are O2 sensors before and after the converter in the exhaust system, and they can go bad causing a service engine light. They look like little plugs, screwed into the exhaust pipe, and have wires coming from them.

Were are the 02 senors located on a 2001 saturn L100

This is a 4 cylinder right? Open the hood and look down between the engine and firewall, this is behind the engine. You will see the exhaust pipe, follow the exhaust pipe up to where it is bolted to the exhaust manifold. You will see the upstream O2 sensor screwed in there, more or less horizontally with wire connector pointed at driver side of car. Now get under the car and find the catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe, a big bulbous thing, the downstream O2 sensor will be after the converter, but before the muffler and will also have an electrical connection.

Where is the O2 Sensor located on the 98 SL1 Saturn

There are two O2 sensors. One is for the computer to control the Air/Fuel ratio mixture and one is for the catalytic converter. The one for the catalytic converter tells the computer nothing more than if the cat. con. is working properly.

The major O2 sensor you are probably looking for is on the exhaust manifold just below where all 4 cylinders meet into one pipe. It has a wire going to it and it sticks out of the exhaust a good ways, it's hard to miss.

Check Engine Light - O2 Sensor - bank 1 running lean

you should have three oxygen sensors on your car, one for each bank of three cylinders; should be towards the Y pipe on each exhaust manifold. Additionally you should have one on the exhaust pipe before the cadilitic converter.
