THE PROBLEM IS ALMOST CERTAINLY THE AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL BLEND DOOR MOTOR ACTUATOR IS INOPERABLE, TO REPLACE THIS PART U MUST REMVIVE THE ENTIRE DASH ASSY. IT IS ABOUT CENTER OF THE AIR DUCTING BEHIND THE DASH.

Why Is My Heater Cold?

I'm have problems with my heater. I usually blow very hot air and has always been a good heater. Lateley, it still blow air but seems to be cooler. Could it just be the thermastat?

First, check coolant level in radiator,if it is low you will have colder air on heat mode! Replenish as needed and in reservoir as well.Drive and test! Change the water thermostat if this doesnt help! Check water valve next,at the heater core inlet hose! The hose going in should be hot, and the hose comming out also, but not as hot. Check to see if the water valve functions or moves when you select heat from a/c mode! Is the vacumn line hooked up to the valve?

2003 Ford F250, the heater does not blow hot air

check the heater temp. control pot under the hood, inline on one of your heater hoses, it may be sticking causing hot water to only get to your heater core when the engine is at high r.p.m.s

Hot air seems to be always coming out ot vents

HAVE THE OPERATION OF THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL BLEND CHECKED, IT IS LIKELY STUCK IN THE HEATER POSITION, THAT IS WHY THE HOT AIR, TO REPLACE THIS PART THE DASH MUST BE REMMOVED

On my 1995 chevy blazer s-10 my face vents are not blowing air

Your heater valve is stuck open, also in a pinch you can crimp off your hose to the heater coil at fire wall. Try to find the heater valve vacumb hose under the hood see if it is bad and fixit. or some models have a cable to the valve could be broken.

Heater temp on mercury '98 mountaineer only blows hot

Everything that is heat and cooling in a vehicle is controlled by vacuum from the engine. It appears to me that your blend door vacuum line to the temp control switch is either off or cracked/broken and not making things work the way you want/expect. It's the vacuum friend.
