Question about Cars & Trucks

Open Question

I put the bike away for the winter, ran fine. Now it will not turn over.

Battery is charged. Kill switch is off. Has a new starter Celinold. Fuses appear to be good. When the key is switched on, a display appears for a few seconds 5 BDE then goes away. No power to anything. Unable to jump start.

Check your earth wires and connections, then check the main fuse, sorry I don't know where it is located, might be right by the solenoid.
Check your battery has good charge and continuity.

How do I get it running again?

It's possible the "new starter" has a bad solenoid so the actual starter motor never gets enough "juice" to turn. I have come across this problem several times. You may also have a serious battery drain, so there was enough "juice" to make the solenoid to Tik but not enought to turn the starter motor itself. I'd check the battery again, or try a different battery. The battery connections may have enough corrosion to prevent proper recharge. The charging system may not be performing properly.

My 92 taurus wont start, you turn the key all the power works, but no clicks,no sound, nothing.. I have checked all fuses, all good... has a new battery that is charged... Is there a relay or selonoid...

Start with your connections to battery and starter, Also check your ground from your battery. Make sure it's not working lose. Then you can check see if getting power to starter, If you are getting power to your starter and it does'nt turn over Replace starter, The selonoid comes with it . You can get a aftermarket "rebuilt" for about $40Good luck to you hope this helps some.

My 92 toyota corolla wont start battery is charged a brand new starter it still wont start,i put the starter on i ran fine but it wont start now please help.

Check power is coming out of your exiter wire ,the little single spade terminal that plugs on to your starter,if not maybe a faulty ignition switch or damaged loom.
