If you already have melted wires it is easier to just replace the harness. By doing so you can find where the wires are shorting out in the vehicle causing this issue and it is easier to prevent the problem from happening again.

Codes p0054 p0141 p0036

code p0054 is
Possible causes - Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2
- Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 harness is open or shorted
- Heated Oxygen Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 circuit poor electrical connection
When is the code detected?Heater current requirements too low or high in the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) heater control circuit Symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
code p0141 is O2sensor heater circuit malfunction( bank one sensor 2)
there is chance that wire from that sensor is touching, part of your exhaust system, and either is open or shorting to ground

code p0036
036 - HO2S Heater Control Circuit Bank 1 sensor 2check the wire from the sensor for the sign cut or melting, and change the sensor

1985 3.7LX 4cl. blue wire to the oil press, resiter wire, coil to carb heat, both heat up.ignition on

Not sure what the question is ?
The heater for the choke and the coil draw alot of amps.
If either component has an internal short to ground, the wire will be very hot rather than just warm.
You could disconnect either component and see if the wire is still hot.

Alternator on montero melted the wire and almost welded itself to the alternator i need to re wire the alternator and need to know what all wires i need to check and replace i need this fixed asap for it...

WHAT COLOR WIRES MELT TO ALTERNATOR ONE WHITE WIRE BATTERY FEED FUSE LINK WIRE OR THE WHITE AND BLUE WIRE TO VOLTAGE REGULATOR TO COMBINATION METER. WHEN YOU REPLACE ELECTRICAL WIRES BESURE TO PUT FLEXIBLE CONDUIT AROUND WIRES TO KEEP ENGINE HEAT AWAY FROM WIRES AND CONDUIT WILL KEEP WIRES FROM RUBBING CAUSING SHORT TO GROUND.

'99 Plymouth Grand Voyager fan switch issues

The problem is not with the switch, it's the blower motor resistor. The resistor is usually located in duct work near the blower motor. It will have 4or 5 wires going to it and is held in place with a couple screws. These things generate heat, so they put them in duct work so the fan blows air across them to keep them cool. Sometimes the plug gets hot and melts, you should be able to buy the resitor and the plug with wires (pig tail) from an auto parts store or a dealer. The resistors are usually about $50 the pig tail is about $30.

All of ground wires melted from pass side under rear seat wire harness is a mess!what caused this. seperated wires but ground wire still gets hot

Too much current passing through wires due to a short or using too small a wire gauge will melt insulation, but that is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed sooner than later by a mechanic or electrician. If an external heat source is causing it, you can insulate the wires using an insulating wrap.
