Is 2005 suzuki forenza radiator connected to the a/c

My friend let the Freon out in an attempt to release the radiator from the car. I ran him off and will call a professional. Was this the right thing to do? Or was he doing the right thing?

The condenser coil is near the radiator, it contains the Freon. I doubt the Freon had to be released, Now you have the added expense of replacing he desiccant and evacuating the system and recharging it.

Is the thermostat located at the end of the upper radiator hose on a 2005 Suzuki Forenza?

Hi!!

It sounds about right, but you need to remove the thermostat housing, (the part where the hose goes into), to remove the thermostat.

How much freon goes in a 2006 suzuki forenza

You can use those quick fill freon systems from auto zone that has the easy to read Gauge on the bottle. There are some that come with an easy connect hose to.
If you have your own gages and bottle you need to get you pressures right in your high and low side. At most ambient temp. that warrant using your A/C pressures should read about 35 on low side and 65 to 70 on high side.

I would look at the relay contact and connector for signs of corrosion or poor conduction. The relay may be okay but the terminals often get enough corrosion to interfere with electrical conduction.
