Need aux relay Box location in 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac for the door lock relay I think its called # 3 aux or # 4 Aux anyone know where it is located?

I could only find auxiliary relay box 2 and had to guess whether your Explorer is early or late production and has keyless entry or power door locks. If you have the central junction box located, trace the BLU/WHT wire to the rear until you find the other end connected to the relay box.

I need to know where the fuses for the heater motor on a 2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition have no manual


There is one in the under hood fuse box , fuse #2 - 40amp an there is one in the central junction box ,fuse #2 as well .this is a 7.5amp fuse. Central junction box is left side of vehicle below the instrument panel . There are also to relay's involved , one is located in the under hood fuse / relay box . An on more is located in the AUX . relay box #1 right side of the engine compartment .

All power locks not working on 2000 Ford Explorer. Sometimes when you stop it makes a lot of noise as if they are locking and unlocking. Now they only lock and do not unlock and therefore we can no longer...


Check the door unlock relay located in the AUX relay box #2 .

You need to take rear trim panel off to view this relay box. There is a seperate relay for lock

My horn and code entry does not work on my 2001 Ford Explorer sport Trac. Where is the fuse if there is one,or how do I fix this


horn fuse should be under the dash. you may also want to check relays under the hood. They are in a block box labeled relays. Check under the dash first. There should be a diagram for the fuses in the owners manual or located near the fuse panel. The fuse block should be up above the brake

My power locks will only unlock with the exception of the rear switch. Can you tell me the location of the lock relay so I can check it.


  • Aux Relay Box #4 is in the rear driver's side removable panel with the tire jack. This Relay box holds the Door Lock / Unlock relays (ice cube type). It also holds the Driver Door Unlock Relay and the ACC Lights Relay (rectangular relays).

    go to 2003 ford explorer owners manual and download it for free from ford then go to roadside emergencies and you will find the fuse box and power distribution box diagram for all fuses

    ABS fuse locations


    There are a total of 5 fuses for brake and abs functions 3 in central fuse box on the drivers side inside truck fuse #9 - 7.5 amp fuse #10 - 10 amp and fuse #11 - 7.5 amp then there are 2 big fuses under the hood in the main battery fuse box next to the battery fuse # 6 - 50 amp and fuse # 28 - 30 amp
