You can plug the pipe to get the car to run a little better. You are losing vacuum through the pipe. yo can use a screw or similar sized what-have-you to plug the leak. I would continue to look for the other end of where the pipe goes so the vehicle runs as designed. If you can't find where it goes, see your mechanic -- he will be able to access vacuum routing diagrams to solve your problem.

Can be a few things , carburetor, h.t lead ,try a new spark plug , not old fuel , ps when it starts and all over the place it's normally fuel starvation ie carbretter or plugs . Thirst thing I would do is a compression test , if all good , new plug carb , fuel then h.t.lead with coil good luck colin

93 bronco, yes carb cleaner in throttle body it runs, will not start other wise it trys to start but wont

Sounds like a fuel starvation issue. 1.) change the fuel filter. 2.) Do a fuel pump test.. is it working? If you turn the key to the ACC position do you hear the fuel pump working?.. will sound like a buzzing coming from the fuel tank area.

Intermitiate problems starting. Sometimes will start right up and then some will crank but not start and after many attempts will then sounds like trying to fire then will finally start then run rough for...

year make and model ?
You can have fuel but not enough pressure. And you could have a lack of spark even with replacing ignition parts.
It will be tough to figure out if you can't duplicate the problem on demand. You need to know if you are missing spark or fuel when it fails to start to know what to test.
Running rough when it starts sounds like too much or too little fuel.

94 chevy s10 4.3 engine wont start but it will turn over has fuel pressure and when you spray a little gas in the intake it cranks up but then stops

fuel starvation ie blocked filter /blocked pipe / as no fuel is reaching the cylinders
BUT FUEL IN INTACE AND STARTS BUT WONT RUN THIS IS BECAUSE THE FUEL BURNS AND STARTS THE ENGINE THEN STALLS AS NO FUEL CHECK ALL FUEL FILTERS AND FUEL LINE FIRST CHEAPEST OPTION

Yeah, when I start my car now it stalls, what can I do?

turn on key(do not start),

if the pump is running listen for spraying sound(more evedent when fuel is low), if loud spraying sound ,there is a 1 1/2" length of hose between fuel pump and pipe inside tank that may have split ,hence pumping fuel back in tank and little to no pressure to injectors.

i believe this is caused by fuel additives eating the rubber
