Did you lube the o-rings before assembly? If not you may have damaged the new rings when you pushed the connectors back togather.

You may need to replace the hose to renew the fittings. Make sure a restriction is not causing overpressure.

2008 Trailblazer Air Conditioner not cooling. blows warm air for the first few miles then cools. It has been recharged.

Philip, You may have to have a good tech, check, diagnose and estimate repair. Could be a few things causing poor AC, recheck your charge level, check your fan at the condenser, make sure the condenser isn't obstructed, compressor clutch could be faulty, system could be plugged with contaminates limiting refrigerant flow. You say the system has been recharged, was it done properly, if not system could be plugged. AC system should of had system checked for leaks, evacuated, flushed, new orifice tube, then recharged with proper quantities of oil and refrigerant. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Air conditioner won't blow cold air after recharge

This is likely due to a defective air temperature control blend door problem, it is likely snapped off at the drive shaft of the door a common problem on the Jeep model. To do this with the factory part requires the dash be removed form the truck. You can get around that by using a kit called "heatertreater" Check eBay for one or contact a local parts store like NAPA

Air pump runns with no lift. pulled hose off to test has vacum ? front struts replaced 1 year ago rear bags hold air for a week or more

I would recommend just replacing the air ride with regular springs front and rear. Kits are available through parts stores and will as nice as the current setup, and much less costly too.

My 1986 samurai air conditioner not cold enough, why?

There maybe a leak in your system. Common source of leaks are in the connection fittings, pressure test ports, charging port, compressor o-rings, evaporator coil, and condenser coil.

Air conditioner just quit. just blows hot air all fuses i could find were good

sounds to me that it needs recharged. You can a refill kit to fill the refrigerant, but you need to check all the fitting on the a/c in the engine compartment for a dirty/oily/greasy feel or look. If you find some then the system needs resealed. And they have kits for that also at the auto parts store.

Hope this helps

How do you operate a quick connect tool?

not sure which tool/s you are intendung ?? however if you observe the tool it has a sleeve around its circumfrence this sleve has to be pulled/pushed back and held then the attachment/tool you wish to use ? can be inserted fully home then the sleeve released to ensure attached tool is locked ? try to pull it out if correctly locked it will not pull out so is safe to use to release tool attachment pull/or push back sleeve then pull out tool attachment the tool attachments must have hexagonal locking bits that fit into the tools jaws unless the tool is air line pressure quick fits then these have locking rings around the circumference the actual locking device is a series of ball bearings that are sprung closed untill sleeve is pulled /pushed back then the balls are slid up a tapered cone and outwards to enable tool attachment to pass balls then when sleeve released the balls move under sping back to lock position hope this is what you are looking for ? best wishes from uk

My recharging kit for air conditioner doesn't seem to fit recharge valve on 2004 dodge durango. How can I be sure i am looking at the low prerssure valve?

Newer vehicle come with R134 vs R12. Since the two are not compatible, R134 has larger fittings. AC system has two ports, High and Low. Low is return to AC Compressor and high is output. High port is first following line from compressor to condenser (condenser is at front of vehicle like a second radiator). Keep following line till you find high port (paint cap red). Second port is low (paint cap blue).
