I had this with mine .. You need a new lock fitted , they are electronic and like anything else they break . I managed to get the plastic back panel of the boot lid and get a small ratchet strap from there to the lashing points inside the boot to keep it shut..

Can I get into the back seat from the boot? I have locked my keys in the ignition.
Hi Michael:
You didn't mention what vehicle it is. Is the boot lid open? A Haynes manual will tell you how to remove the rear seat on your vehicle.
I'd be looking at using a "slim Jim" or wire to be trying to unlock it.

My boot wont open
If the back seat folds down you can get in and take the cover off the boot lid and pull the levers to the lock and it will open. If the seats do not fold down you have to remove the back seats to get into the boot or just get a locksmith

The keys f my car are stuck in the boot
If the front part of your car is not locked you might be able to get into the boot by removing the rear seat(s) - or folding them down.

With some cars you may be able to slip a coat hanger between the boot lid and frame to pop the lock.
