Have a 98 Z-24, the theft system lamp will not shut off. The car starts and stays running. Is there a way to shut the light off or bypass the theft system to avoid having the light come back on. I bought it used and have no original key... the keys I have will now also come out of ignition while the car is running.

you need a scan tool to clear the codes and deal with the codes that won't clear
