Is the Test Light Probe something I can purchase from an auto parts store or is this something I need a mechanic to do? If its something I can purchase to do on my own, do I ask the auto parts store to help me find a Test Light Probe or what is the device named?

It sounds you have a complicated problem and it will be hard for anyone to help you.If the alternator is working well and you have tested it then it either means you need a new battery or else the charge controller is not working.Check all connection to battery are tight and grease the connection.Due to the fact the a/c turns on and off by itself etc it clearly means you have some wiring or electrical faults.Be careful to find the right person as they may rip you off as it is a time consuming task.

The System must be Tested for A Battery DRAW, This is done by test light,Remove Negativ Battery Terminal And Connect CLIPON End to the Cable end and Poke the Test Light Probe Into NEG Battery Terminal. if it Lights up (Witch I Suspect it WILL) This Means There IS Somthine Using Power. One Must then ONE by ONE Remove Each FUSE in FUSE BOX and Replace it UNTILL the Light GOES OFF, When it does you have Found the Curciut that IS Killing the Battery, Then its as
Simple as Replacing the COMPONENT that is Draining the Battery this Will Also Locate the Other Faults you have Explained.

seems a silly answer but give it a try; check your trunk light switch... if it fails your trunk lights will either stay off or stay continuously on resulting a battery drain

I have a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville SSE.. won't start

It sounds like you have a short somewhere that is draining the battery...this type of thing is usually caused by a faulty voltage regulator. I recommend taking the alternator to an autoparts store to have it tested...don't be surprised if the alternator tests good; a faulty voltage regulator can and will drain a battery in a matter of hours. I am including a link where you can order a voltage regulator for your Bonneville or, while you are at the autoparts store, you can buy one there. The link will help you to see what the voltage regulator looks like so you can identify it in your engine compartment. Hope this helps, good luck!

The battery gauge on my 04 Bonneville moved far right.

Yes, have your alternator tested. If it's putting out too much voltage, it could damage a lot of things in your electronics, as well as your battery.
