Come on, where's your school boy maths? Formula is Pi R Squared x Height. Therefore 3.142 x 2.5cm(radius) squared x 15cm = 294.56 cubic centimetres, call it 295.
Water weighs 1kilo at 1 litre so approx 295cc's will be 295 grams, if thats any help? If not substitute the true weight per mL or cc of paraffin because there are various grades of paraffin If you do it in old imperial, 1 english gallon of water is 10 lbs.

Will 20 inch rims destroy your transmission?

The overall circumference of the tire - regardless of the rim diameter - is what creates strain on the transmission. Typically tires mounted on oversized rims have a low profile (shorter sidewall height) so the difference isn't as bad when compared to trucks with extra large tires designed for off-road / swamp.

You can find out the difference easily by measure the height of the tire - top to bottom. This is the diameter. Multiply this number by 3.14 to find the circumference. A tire 24" high has a 75.36" circumference and a 25" tire is 78.5. Every inch in height causes a 3.14" inch change in circumference and will make your speedometer report a speed that is slower than actual and odometer less, too.

What is the difference between tire size 255/70 and 265/70

Hello Projocs03,

Tires are typically measured tire width (sidewall)/tire ride height/wheel size. The differences of the two tire sizes you published are .4 of an inch difference in width/sidewall. And about .55 in over all diameter which would impact you revs per rotation. Depending on your wheel size.

Attached is a comparison of the two given the variable of 17" rim.

I added the above link so you can research further or change any variables you need to know. However, the most important thing to understand is the impact of your speedometer. Different sizes will have different impacts. For example going to a bigger tire will show a slower speed on your spedo that your traveling.

Good luck

What weight motor oil do i use?

Hello wolfport21: My name is Roger and I will help you. The factory recommended oil is a 15W40 engine oil. I would suggest a low paraffin oil. High paraffin oil caused the rings to stick in the 4.1 engines. If you have a 5.7 engine the oil is the same as the 4.1 engines. Please rate the answer you received. This way we know your answer helped. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger
