Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
My a/c clutch will not engage so i read in the manual to bypass the low pressure shut off to see if the pump will kick on, it said to bridge a couple slots in the plug from the shut off unit and i wasnt sure which ones to bridge so i did all the combinations possible of and there was only 3 wires in total. as i was doing that i noticed my head lights turn on and the e brake had been engaged. since then i have also noticed my cruise control wont turn on '' not even the light on the dash'' and my heated seats also dont heat. and i dont have any check engine lights and all fuses are fine.
I believe u are not bypassing the correct switch be careful when bypassing u can damage something if u don't know what u are doing
