Location of the Ac low pressure switch 2007 Mkz

The low pressure switch (also known as the AC compressor switch) will be under the hood, it will be located in the low side AC line from the AC compressor, this is the larger of the two lines from the AC compressor. See picture below, looks like it has a three wire connector. Also what is the AC doing that makes you think this switch is defective? Cycling on and off constantly?

WHERE IS AC FUSE

Well, there isn't a fuse for the A/C switch. the A/C is controlled by the ECM. Unfortunately, you will have to have the A/C checked. It will take a scanner and a set of gauges to do it. The scanner checks the sensors in the system. The gauges will tell you what needs replaced, if anything.. Some times all it needs is recharged.

Ac compressor doesn't turn on

make sure that the fan is on as well as the ac switch. There are other switches that turn the compressor clutch off when something goes wrong. There is a high head pressure switch that turns off if there is excessive pressure generated from blockage or excess gas and another switch that closes of when there is insufficient gas in the system. Have a ac mechanic check the system for leaks as that is the most common problem.

Recharged a/c do u have to clear ecm or bcm what is the codes

You do not have to clear either module. If the AC still doesn't work then there is still a problem like an AC compressor clutch or compressor cycling switch in the low pressure refrigerant side line..

HIGH PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH LOCATED ON AC COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE LINE LEADING TO THE CONDENSOR.THE HIGH PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH WILL CUT OFF THE AC COMPRESSOR IF SYSTEM PRESSURE RISES TO HIGH CAUSED BY RESTRICTION IN THE REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT OR OVERHEATED CONDENSOR.MAKE SURE COOLING FAN IS RUNNING WHEN THE AC SWITCH IS ON.THE COOLING FAN KEEP CONDENSOR COOL, IF COOLING FAN DONT RUN.YOUR AC WILL STOP BLOWING COLD AIR.HAVE THE REFRIGERANT SYSTEM CHECK OUT.MAKE SURE YOUR LOW SIDE PRESSURE IS 10 - 37 PSI. THE HIGH SIDE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 112 - 210 PSI. CHECK THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH FUSE AND RELAY.

I have a 02 lincoln ls . the air conditiong is not working . i took it to a local shop they check the compressor, fuses, relays, pressure swithches, all is checcking out good. They jump the compressor...

YOU COULD HAVE OPEN OR SHORT IN THE BLACK YELLOW WIRE GOING TO AC COMPRESSOR CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH. CHECK FOR A SHORT OR OPEN IN RED YELLOW WIRES AT THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH. USE VOLT METER AND CHECK FOR VOLTAGE AT BOTH SWITCHES. PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE EATC MODULE THAT SEND POWER TO PURPLE WIRE THAT FEEDS THE AC PRESSURE CUTOFF SWITCH AND AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH THEN FEEDS THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH SOLENOID.

Which fuse do I need to replace for my ac compressor?

The AC clutch is passenger compartment fuse # 5. This is the fuse for the circuit through the function selector switch to the AC pressure cut off switch & the AC pressure cycling switch.

The engine compartment fuse # 23 & 3 control the WOT ( wide Open Throttle ) relay to the AC clutch diode & AC compressor clutch solenoid.

My 1998 navigator 4 wheel drive got stuck& now ac wont work

2 different electrical circut's that are unrelated. Ac on a 12 year old truck is bound to need some service. Take it to a trusted shop that is not hurting for work & ask them if anything is disconnected, ie: compressor power wire, high pressure switch...ect. Tell tale sign system is low on freon is the compressor keeps cycling on & off with a clicking sound or compressor does not come on at all.
