Eagle talon 1998 tsi turbo cylinder number 4 missing

the injectors are fired off of ground from the ecu check to make sure you have both and a good pulse to it a NOID light is perfect for that also make sure you have spark to that plug and with a bottle of water or spray can of carburator cleaner with the motor running spray around the intake near number 4 cylinder and lines to see if there is a vacuum leak

I have a 1991 talon eagle turns over when the gas is to the floor and wont say idling also when driving and coming to a stop it dies whats wrong

you could have a high fuel pressure problem and when holding the throttle all the way to the floor you put the system in flood mode which shuts off the injectors to burn off excess fuel in the engine.and when you release the throttle the system returns to normal.when driving you could be using the fuel that is being over supplied at the speed your driving.also the egr valve could be stuck open causing the engine to stall at idle.something to check out.

96 eagle talon turbo. p-302 code ,#2 cylinder misfire . cleaned and tested injectors , replaced plugs and wires no vacuum leaks , 145 psi compression ...stumped ...

Get a spark tester preferably one that you can gap at 10, 20, 30, 40K's. Then compare the maximum spark that you can get out of one of the good cylinders against the bad one. It may not be doing it's job.

Installed new head gasket, new timing belt, two new valves. drove 5 miles engine stalled. no spark or injector pulse. installed new crank sensor, cam sensor, coilpack, new ECM still wont start

It soundslike your timing belt may have a problem. It may have failed prematurely, thetensioner may have failed, the tensioner pulley or idler pulley may have wornout, or the timing may be incorrectly set. No spark can usually be guaranteed acrank sensor fault, cam sensor fault, or timing fault. If the timing checksout, maybe you got a bad crank sensor or cam sensor, but I am 98% sure it'srelated to timing.

Having a problem with my 1994 eagle talon. no

shake at idle means u have a cylinder misfire or low commpression, here are causes of misfires most commonly seen.

The most common misfire causes on the cars I've worked on have been:
  1. Spark plugs
  2. Spark plug wires
  3. Ignition coil
  4. Fuel injector
  5. Wiring to fuel injector
  6. Timing Belt
  7. Vacuum leak or stuck open EGR
  8. Contaminated fuel or bad fuel pump
  9. Weak compression
  10. Blown head gasket

How do u put a exhaust gasket on a turbo eagle talon

Disconnect the battery.cables.
Jack-up the car, and support in on jack-stands.
Get under the car, and remove the exhaust pipe that's connected to the turbo.
Replace the gasket. (exhaust bolts could be tough to remove) spray some WD40 on the bolts/nuts prior to
working them. Installation is reverse of removal.

1990 talon 2.0 non turbo shakes real bad when in drive

are you getting spark on at the end of the plug wires to all 4 plugs? if plugs are ok probably but check to be sure. also possible vacuum leak. if not those it might be a torque converter lockup problem. i dont deal with automatic trannys much so im not sure how to check that though
