If you have the 4.3L 'W' motor then it's time to check fuel pressure at the schrader valve using a gauge. These motors have a CPI injection system that NEEDS EVERY BIT of 62-65 PSI just to start...and 54-60 PSI to run. Anything under 62-65 PSI during cranking...replace fuel pump.
