Question about 2001 Chrysler Town & Country
Got approx (4 gal) of bad gas. Drove 1 mile to home. Prob started immediately on starting the next morning.Treated gas for moisture.Got high octane gas (10 gal), added fuel octane booster, changed plugs & no 2 wire. Also added injecter cleaner to fuel. Still misfires. Got misfire diag from Autozone, as ck engine lights stays on or flashes.. What next? Can num 2 fuel injecter be physically cleaned or does it have to be replaced?
Even a small amount of bad gas can cause your problem.
So the first thing you need to do is remove your fuel tank so you can drain all of the old fuel out, then remove the fuel sending unit and fuel pump assembly thats in your fuel tank and clean the filter screen, after that you can reinstall the fuel tank, replace your fuel filter and I would have a fuel injector sevice done.
Unless you are very skilled in automotive repair, leave this one to a pro.
