Remove everything on the front of the motor, and change the chain without the crank getting out of time with the cam. If you get it wrong, it will spit motor parts out like a baby burping up.
Best done in a good service shop.
If the car is front wheel drive, double the trouble.
The chrysler 300 has a timing chain instead of a belt. There is no real scheduled replacement time
for the chain,unless the chain is bad or another repair requires the removal of the timing case cover.
