I need the bypass cap kit for my 1989 d21 pickup getting rid of the pair valve case.

USA cars? or not? learn that cars are not the same world wide. ok?
will if you had shopped for the part the seller shows all cars it fits.
so why not learn to at least shop and learn that, for free
or at the dealer that sells it, oops TOO OLD (most parts are from them even 10 years old)
gee and fit is not the ONLY factor, the pressure it regulates must be in PSI spec, or injections will be wrong for sure. out of spec.

slide the outer trim forwards then pull gently towards you.

you crossed the egr valve hose most likely. there is a diagram on the underside of hood

The Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) may need cleaning or replacement.

This valve lets air bypass the throttle plate so that the engine can idle. The more air, the faster the idle. If this valve is sticky, the computer may have a hard time regulating the idle properly and may surge.

did u take off timing belt? if so then its not timed if not then check the cylinders for compression. might b a bent valve in the head
