Question about 2004 Chevrolet Impala
I am becoming an expert on removing this door panel..big flaw in car when it rains it comes in window and right down in door causing the window track to actually rot out..cost of new track section an unreal 122 dollars for one...rip i know..one screw upper right side in panel near mirror..one holding panel behind door handle...2 star screws in door (where you grab door to close)or where i keep change lol..once you pop window control panel up 2 more star screws under that..followed by two screws at the bottom of door panel going up into storage area..then i just pull out on the bottom of door panel...then lift up....if you dont replace the channel track you will become an expert to...8 times in 2 weeks lol..good luck

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge

The center section does come out it has little tabs front and rear you have to bend it very carfully.GOOD LUCK
