All turbo vehicles can only make boost if induction system is sealed,at this stage rather than looking for a fault with actuator controls,i would check to see if all ducting(piping) is secure.from airfilter,intercooler,turbo etc to engine,just check that there are no leaks,if there are any loose,revving it on the spot to cut in turbo should cause a loud rushing of air.if this is all ok then we need to further.

Fault codes P0236 and P0046 keep coming up on my freelander1 td4 2004

P0236 = Possible causes are

1. Boost pressure sensor harness is open or shorted
2. Boost pressure sensor circuit poor electrical connection
3. Faulty boost pressure sensor
4. Faulty Turbo/Super Charger
5. Engine over temperature
6. Ignition misfire exceeds the threshold
7. Faulty Knock sensor (KS)

P0046 = Turbo/Super Charger Boost Control Solenoid Circuit Range/Performance

.... based on this information I would replace the turbo boost control solenoid first.

Turbo not boosting engine light comes on now and then

turbos that are not boosting may be loosing the pressure from cracked/split intercooler, loose hose clips, split hoses and seized up variable vanes in the turbine side which the actuator tries to work when it gets vacuum from the actuator control module. Check that this hose is not cracked or broken off

I have a 2003 f250 6.0 turbo it starts ruff and on highway when i get to 70mph and hit a hill it will slow down no matter how gas i give and if i floor it black smoke come out

these trucks are known for the egr cooler failing but I think you have turbo issues. maybe the wastegate is stuck open and not making any boost. check your boost guage (normal amount of boost?) make sure your vacume lines and wiring is atached with no leaks. Any check engine light?

sensor failing or coming lose and not being able to read engine movement i think they have sensors for tdc and bdc so would check them.on petrol engine they are cam and crank sensors. they fail and sometime don't though up a code until completly gone and then the engine will not start.

Engine light staying on and no turbo power. Code P2622

I am assuming that by "no turbo power" you are meaning that the boost gauge is not registering and pressure?
You most likely need to have your turbo rebuilt. The check engine light is coming on as a result of the bad turbo.

Audi A6 3.0 tdi Quattro 2005, glow plug light comes on, limp mode

16619 -Engine boost condition - Limit not reached. Check intake hoses/ connections for leaks. Check Turbo charger waste gate regulating valve/ waste gate working correctly. Must move freely when accelerating, won't achieve full boost if waste gate sticking open. Check Turbo impeller turning freely, oil feed pipe for turbo can get blocked causing impeller to seize. Engine compact, not easy to access these components.

LC Prado 2LTurbo engine,turbo is not boosting.

check the piping from the compressor outlet to the throttlebody for boost leaks. also check to make sure that the wastegate actuator is functioning properly. it may be stuck open. the other thing to check for would be an exhaust leak either between the head and the exhaust manifold or the exhaust manifold and the turbo.
if its none of those things, check the blades on the turbo (compessor and turbine sides) for damage and make sure that it turns freely
