SOURCE: Procedure for bleeding the hydraulic braking system

doesnt matter where you start. depends how long this took place. maybe start up front and save yourself some headache. That might cure it and you wont have to bleed the backs.

SOURCE: bleeding brake on a 2002 mazda protege 5

Start from the furthest away from the master cylinder and work your way forward..And make sure who is helping you bleed them they hold the brake to the floor and dont let up until you've tighten the bleeder screw..And make sure your master cylinder is full every time you bleed one tire so that you dont run out getting more air in the systems..Hope this helps you and Have A Great Day

SOURCE: can i change breake pads without bleeding brakes

Brake pad replacement does not involve brake fluid loss or air entrainment in the brake lines. It is a good idea to loosen the lid on the master cylinder reservoir while you compress each piston. It may make it a bit easier to do. If you do put a rag around the reservoir in the rare event there is slight spillage. Use a small block of wood or an old brake pad as a protective caul to cover the piston end in the caliper, Use a C-clamp or similar tool to gently compress the piston back into the caliper head. When initially positioning the C-clamp, pay close attention to where it will grip on the back of the caliper so you do not inadvertently damage other parts. Once you are all done with the pads check the reservoir and top off with a little fresh brake fluid if necessary. Be sure to securely fasten the lid to the brake fluid reservoir.

Why does 02 Mazda Tribute front passenger brake keep locking up?

Try bleeding some brake fluid on that side. You may have a blockage. Also check if the rotor is in good condition, it may be warped. Good luck!

Brake bleeding

keep bleeding and you need two people to bleed brakes using pedal pump method --fill master with fluid and have some one pump and hold then open bleeder then close it --then have the some one pumps again [ repeat steps ] when no air -go to next wheel and check in beetween fluid level adding when needed

Brakes are wearing uneven. driver side brakes are engaging but passenger side is not

Either the caliper is bad or there is air in the line.I would pull the wheel off and have someone pump the breaks and see if the breaks try to move then try bleeding them out before I spent the money on a new caliper.

Brake pedal hits floor with no pressure

if the brake fluid resovoir is full and you havent opened the brake brake system (ie a bleeder screw or removed a brake line) then you probably need a master cylinder. if the brake fluid IS empty then first you must find the leak and repair it before bleeding will do any good.

Bleeding brakes

No need to run the engine. Start the bleed procedure from the caliper farthest from the master cylinder, and work toward it. This means bleed the passenger rear first, then the driver rear, then passenger front, then driver front. Don't stop bleeding any caliper until you get three or so consecutive streams of air-free fluid through the bleeder. Monitor the level of fluid in the cylinder, and be sure the cap is on while bleeding - only open it to add additional fluid as needed.
