Blower motor works only on hight speed

Most heater fans have a resister built into the wiring and connection block on the actual casing. High fan speed=full voltage, Mid speed=small resister, Slow fan speed=large resister. Change the resister block. Pete

I have a parts car, and have changed out the ECM, fuel pump, injectors, fuel pilter, fuel pressure regulator, ran the can with exhaust unbolted (check for clogged CATs, checked out my timing belt for slippage amoung other things, and nothing works. I have no check engine light on. Do you?

CHECK THE HIGHT OF THE HEATER MATRIX IN THE CAB , IF ITS HIGHER THAN THE FILLER/EXPANSION TANK. THEN ITS AN AIR LOCK, or semi blocked heater matrix, LOOK FOR THE HIGHEST PIPE AND SEE IF THERE IS A BLEED VALVE, IF NOT TAKE BOTH PIPES OFF THE MATRIX FEEDS AND FLUSH OUT TO SEE IF IT IS BLOCKED, AND RECONNECT LOWEST PIPE FIRST AND FILL SYSTYM TILL WATER APPEAR FROM TOP AND RECONNECT RUN MOTOR, AND KEEP TOPIN UP put some rad flush in will also help

F150 1997 ford heater fan only blows on hight

Plan on finding a melted blower motor resistor. Usually when the blower goes single speed, the blower motor resistor is the cause.

You can find it on the passenger side, looking up behind the dash / Glove box area.
In this picture the passenger side kick panel ( where the inertia fuel switch is at ) is on the right hand side of the picture.

This is what it might look like when you get it out :

The blower motor only has the 1 fuse and blower motor relay on it. If it works on high, those are OK..

Parts should be less than 75.00 total from a dealer, and it is a metric socket and lay on your back on the passenger side floor repair, real easy and quick.

Heater fan broblem

You have some type of foreign material in the fan. Under the dash, on the passenger side, locate the fan motor. Remove the electical plug, and the 3 screws that holds the fan motor onto the housing; drop the fan straight down, after removing the 3 screws. Clean out the debris, and reinstall the fan. Easy to do.
