My brother's van shakes violently while driving. What can he do to fix this? He has a 1990 plymouth voyager.

There are many steering and suspension parts that can cause shaking while driving. Tires with belt separations can cause severe shaking. It could be anything from a bad CV Joint to a broken trailing arm. My recommendation is to have the steering and suspension inspected by a professional.

On a 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager what is the block that the brake lines go into on the drivers side rear?

It has to do with the load leveler, which is nothing but trouble trying to get the back brakes to work right. If you are having a problem getting good brakes to the back, it's not a bad idea to by-pass this block.
