Question about 1997 Nissan Pickup

Black smoke from exhaust,no idle in warm temps-97 Nissan 2WD 2.4L

Truck runs fine in cooler, outside temps. As soon as outside temps rise into the 70s-80s, truck won't idle, it blows black smoke, and has poor gas mileage. I have already changed the mass air flow sensor and temp control sensor. Any thoughts?

I had a 1995 nissan pick up with a similar problem, may want to try cleaning out or replacing the EGR valve.

6.5 td fueling up when it reaches 180 deg

You have fuel in you cylinder.....Check your carburetor. It might need adjustments. Also, check for faulty fuel pump, injector, engine electronic. Also, check your fluids...all of them.

Was running fine then stalled suddenly. when it started back run rough at an idle black smoke from exhaust then press the gas pedal and it quit now it will not start at all

I just had a similar situation. The truck would run fine and then the Service Engine Soon light would start blinking and the truck would go into "limp" mode. It would eventually stall. Strangley though, if I turned the key over and then restarted it, it would start right up and run again. It ended up being the IPDM (Intelligent Power Distribution Module) that was bad. It cost me $520 to replace it.

When i start the truck up it will not idle

Is the engine at running temperature when it starts running rough? And when it is cool does it run fine until it warms up?

Flooding/shutting off/black smoke/harder on gas

Sounds to me like you have a bad coolant temperature sensor. Or a bad o2 sensor. Leaning towards the coolant temp. sensor. I hope that I helped. Best wishes.
